Massage therapy targets the soft tissues of the body, which include muscle, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. It is also an alternative health option to alleviate the discomfort associated with everyday stresses, muscular overuse and many chronic pain syndromes.
Hydrotherapy and Therapeutic Exercise are also included in the scope of Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs). Lesley Anne White completed the 3000 hour education program making her part of the most extensively trained Massage Therapists in North America.

I have been in the fitness and health industry for over 25 years. For the last 13, I have been self employed as a British Columbia Registered Massage Therapist. The niche of my business is working with amateur and elite athletes; though, I have tailored my practice for the weekend warrior and yoga enthusiast. Releasing patients from restriction and discomfort to enhance their performance at work, at play, at the gym, on the mat and in competition.
I have a strong background in orthopaedics, sports rehabilitation, pre and post surgical rehabilitation (mainly back, hip, knee and shoulder surgery) and am a very capable relaxation/spa therapist.
As an adult, I ventured into endurance sports like marathons (New York 2005), trail running, triathlon and adventure racing. I even dabbled as a fitness model competitor. In 2012, I suffered a number of injuries that hindered my activity. With the assistance of a great medical community, after 3 years, I have returned to activity. My time inactive reinforced the importance of an integrated approach to healing and has developed my integration with other health care professionals to assist patients.
Now, on the right side of 40 (closer to 50), I am totally blissed out, excited about my career and loving life! Always moving forward.
With the vast treatment protocols in massage therapy combined with my degree in Kinesiology, I am able to honestly empathize with patients and develop and implement strategic treatment protocols. My treatments are heavily influenced by Myofascial Release techniques and Deep Tissue Massage though I always find myself incorporating the therapeutic properties of Swedish (Relaxation). As I am a consummate learner, I focus my continuing education credits in the above and continue my studies in Therapeutic Massage and protocols. My past treatment successes have defined the benefits of Massage Therapy in terms of enriching the quality of life for everyone. Treating the body, mind and soul connection as one entity, I am committed to restoring top performance. I am truly a goals oriented massage therapist and a conduit to their well being.
From this place, I look forward to sharing my experience, suggestions, knowledge and my community.
